Baby Boy Winter Wish List

My baby boy is growing just too quickly and so I have been looking to add a few more pieces to his 3-6 and 6-9 months wardrobe. It's a good excuse to warrant some online window shopping and a wish list post!

The Perfect Sunday Morning

Radio | Iced Coffee | Breakfast Tray | Joules Bedding | Next Blanket | Panasonic Small TV

I am loving the weekends at the moment, Jamie being at home every weekend till September is so wonderful, during the week I ache for our relaxing Sunday mornings. They normally start early, I guess we have a three year old to contend with, but she is more than happy to come into our room to enjoy some relaxation time with her mummy & daddy. We often let watch something on the IPad (we desperately want a small TV in our room!), I know naughty mummy, but it allows us to snooze and relax - which is exactly what you need after a long week at work.

Then, after some pestering, Jamie will often get up and make a little breakfast where we will eat in bed. Its pretty blissful. When we were on honeymoon, I would sometimes get up before Darcie & Jamie and head into the town to get breakfast, which would include croissants, coffee/iced coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. I would then come back to the cottage, fling open the windows, and wake up my beautiful family. We did have a TV in our room, and though ordinarily I wouldn't be bothered about having a TV in our room, we absolutely loved it, hence why we would like to get one for our room.

There is nothing more perfect than starting your day than a lazy morning with your family - and I'm looking forward to another little person adding to our little Sunday morning ritual, though we may need a bigger bed!

Do you have a Sunday morning ritual?

Country Style Bathrooms

As a country girl myself, I have to admit I am drawn to country style interiors. There are hints of this around my home, but one area that is lacking is the bathroom. My bathroom is a sore point - I really am stumped at how I can make it functional, I just feel like I need to rip it out and start again. I swear modern housing developers don't think about functionality. I have been thinking as to how I can do just that, have a bathroom that works for us as a family, offering storage solutions but is still a relaxing and airy space that I can enjoy after a long day.

Baby Essentials - Wish List

With Jamie working till later on in the evening that can only mean one thing, I'm browsing baby items online. I remember doing this when pregnant with Darcie and I would spend ages creating lists of items I would need in order to be prepared for when little one arrives. It's fair to say that with Darcie I was very obsessed about getting everything ready straight away, but second time round I have been slightly more relaxed - even if I still enjoy looking around for bits and bobs.

Adding copper accents to your home

Copper Accents to your home

For 2015 I am having a serious love affair with copper. I keep seeing little bits and bobs when browsing and can't help but think how much I need a little bit of copper in my life. I think one of the things I am drawn to with copper is that it seemingly goes with most colour schemes making it perfect for sprucing up and adding something new to a tired room. This latest trend can also be added to every room, but I think it is important to note that with the copper trend you should be careful to not go over board - a little goes a long way!

So lets jump in to my favourite picks (From top left, clockwise)...

 1. Seven ceiling light (NEXT) £100, I love to see lighting like this, it has something a little classy about it without being too over the top.
2. Alternatively this gorgeous copper and glass seeded ceiling pendent is perfect for the kitchen/dining room - I really love this and only wish my ceiling was a little higher to accommodate it! This is available from House of Fraser and is currently on sale for £80.
3. I love lanterns, but have none in my home so this Fisher mans lantern from House of Fraser, £30, would be the perfect fit - I'm thinking for our main bathroom.
4 & 5. Of course the kitchen can't go a miss from a splash of copper, this gorgeous kettle & toaster (£32 & £35) from NEXT are the perfect touch.
6. For the bedroom or living room, how about these gorgeous geometric copper cushions from NEXT, £12?
7. Again some more lanterns that could be perfect for in a large hallway or living room, these are again from Next and cost £44 for a set of two.

I had to be very strict with myself on this post - I could of shared with you about 30 items I love!

Are you liking the current copper trend? What's your favourite piece?

Spring Fling // Toddler Style from Next

It's officially spring and I flipping love it! This time of year is one of my favourites, the start of longer days hint towards what summer has on offer. It's also the time of year my bank balance always takes a hit too (unfortunately, why can't money grow on tree's hey?) as I start to build up Darcie's spring/summer wardrobe. Having said that, a lot of clothes from last summer still fit her so I'm only having to add a few bits to fully kit her out.

As usual I turn to Next to kick start each season & I have already got two items from the above picture, the dungaree's and bird/denim dress - I am so obsessed with this print it's so colourful and screams spring, and I'm itching to add these gorgeous other pieces.

I particularly like the smoky dresses, the giraffe print dress reminds me of a next print dress Darcie had when she was one, their is something about giraffe's I am seemingly drawn too. Speaking of giraffes, the very cute trainers have tiny little giraffe's on too! The stripy t-shirt with the cute bunny on is rather Joules like, but half the price and you know me I love a bit of the nautical style that Joules does so well. Finally I picked out these gorgeous fringed sandals that look super comfortable and perfect for toddlers who like to run around in the sun, perfect for my little girl!

Are there any toddler items you're currently lusting over?

#HintList with Beaverbrooks

Can you believe Christmas is literally just round the corner? I know I certainly can't! I have been so busy I haven't even stopped to think  about what Santa may bring me! If you are a regular reader you will know that I ordinarily love to do wish list posts, but this Christmas they have certainly been lacking. My other half even mentioned this when he started Christmas shopping!

However, this afternoon I have been leaving hint (some very obvious ones) for my hubby for some gorgeous jewellery I have fallen in love with at Beaverbrooks.

26th Birthday Wish list

In just over a month it will be my 26th birthday... closer to 30 than 20...! Anyway, I have been having a little think about what I would like, but to be honest I couldn't think of my usual long list!! I think as I'm growing older these "material" things are becoming less of a "necessity" than they used to be when I was younger. Having said that here are a few things that I have had my eye on.

I have been wanting a new lens for a while now, I have decided on this one for more portrait shots and perhaps close up product shots. Its one of the cheaper lenses you can buy but I have heard wonderful things about it!

The make-up bag, I really hope I get (hint, hint). It has been designed and produced by Hannah Maggs, an amazing blogger & Youtub'er, so would be lovely to support her.

The Pandora ring has Darcie's birthstone (June) so I think it would be a fitting keepsake... don't you think?!

The rest are clothes items I have been eyeing up a while. I love the floral print by Joules, and I really love the fit of Next shoes, always comfy even for work!

Is it your birthday soon? Do you have an ever growing wish list?

February Wish List

I haven't done one of these in a while and as it has been so gloomy I have been browsing my favourite online sites for a bit of window shopping!

Come and browse with me...

1. I may be possibly (if Vodafone sort themselves out) swooping my phone with my brother and so I have been eyeballing some pretty phone cases. My current phone, HTC One X Plus doesn't have any nice phone case options so I will be happy to switch it up sometimes! These beauties are from Joules £19.95.

2. If you haven't realised by now, I love stripes. In particular navy stripes. Add a bit of coral and for me your on to a winner. The Joules top is priced £29.95.

3. A yellow bag?! Yes please! This pretty little thing is from Next, £22, it is the perfect bag to go with my many nautical style outfits.

4. Naked 3 palette, I currently have the Naked one and Basics palette and was never interested in the second palette as I didn't feel  it was too different from the first, but the third? Well that's a different story, it's so pretty and has some pink tones mixed in... Lovely! Available at Debenhams for £37.

5. Yes. I'm in love with my Barry M glitter texture nail varnish in Majesty that I want the entire collection! Available from Superdrug for £3.99

6. This Cath Kidston necklace is just too cute. I really love the colours on the bird, would look perfect with the Joules top! Now in the Sale on the Asos website priced at £12.

7. Another bag, this time in a beautiful duck egg blue colour. This bag is nice and big, perfect for me to chuck in Darcie's bits and bobs too! From Topshop priced at £36.

8. Macadamia natural oil healing spray, perfect for helping me to repair my hair. In the sale on Beauty Bay for £9.75-£15.15.

9. And last but not least, another beautiful item from Joules! This nautical knit is perfect for stepping into spring. This is most definitely a treat item, priced at £69.95.

There we go, my window shopping for the evening! Perfect!

If you have a similar post, send me your links so I can window shop some more :)

September Beauty Lusts

Trawling the net tonight I have been adding a couple of things to my beauty lust list (that I am slooowly knocking down!) and thought you may want a nose...

Firstly  a NYX Blusher, 'pinched' is quite taking my fancy at the moment! A dupe for Nars Orgasm apparently!

Hoola bronzer by Benefit. I keep seeing this and every time I need a new bronzer I say I'm going to get it and never do. Something tells me its time!

Two MAC eye shadows I'm loving at the moment is 'cranberry' and 'naked lunch'. I love MAC eye shadows and haven't had one in a while.

Moroccan Oil, I'm wanting to get my hair back into tip top condition and have herd so many wonderful things about this.

Another NYX product, their lip creams. I curious to see what the texture is like on them. I'm really fussy with my lip products.

Sleek Contour Kit, I really am disappointed with myself that I have never used this before!!! So this has to change this month!

Lastly, Bumble & Bumble Mending Masque. I have read lots of lovely reviews and hope it can help my very damaged hair but with a price tag of around £30 it might be a bit too much of a splurge!

What have you been lusting over this month?

Wish list August 2013

There has been quite a few things I have been lusting over of late. With us making some effort (finally) on our house and getting it just right, there has not been much room for treats (though getting our house just the way we want it is a treat so I shouldn't complain!), but lots of room for window shopping online! My 25th birthday (yikes) is next month so have been dropping some hints to Jamie *insert a cheeky winky face here...*

And thought why not share these with you?! Some of my favourite blogs include their wish lists and they are some of my favourite posts.

1. A beautiful tunic from Joules, I love Joules, their patterns are always so uplifting and easy to wear and I think this would be perfect for Autumn.

2. A nautical style jumper from Joules (there is a theme gathering here...), I love my stripy's and will look cute with jeans and tan pumps.

3. A pair of Hunters black wellies. Jamie has a pair of them so I think its time I get a pair too!!!

4. A pretty bird print top from Joules (you can see where I spend most of my time browsing...), a perfect top for dressing up or down.

5. An Ipad. I have wanted one ever since they came out. But I know I may have to wait a little longer, must save!!

6. A GORGEOUS and comfy pair of tan pumps from Dune. I bought these in 2007 when I worked for Dune and I'm still wearing them but they have near enough had it... But I will repurchase these for sure!

7. Is the Hemnes Ikea bookshelf that I desperately want for our living room, we have other furniture from this line so will complete the living room! Bit of a random one I know!

Obviously I don't expect to get these any time soon, but I am trying to save so I can at least knock two down off my wishlist!

What have you been lusting over this month??
