I have been wanting to try an alternative quick and easy lunch for Henry for a few weeks now, sandwiches can become pretty tiresome and this little dude very much likes to experiment with food and try new tastes and textures. Whilst this is fantastic, I think all mums want this of their little ones, it does make it that more challenging. What to concoct next?!

Encouraging Your Little Ones to Make Healthier Food Choices
Trying to get our children to make healthy choices when it comes to food can sometimes be tricky. The appeal of sweets and ice cream entice children, particularly at this time of year and I often have these kind of battles with my daughter. It doesn't help that the Hubby has a sweet tooth (despite being a type one diabetic!). So how can we encourage our children to make healthier choices? Well making food fun and encouraging them to be involved in the purchasing and making of food has definitely been something that has helped us. So I thought fruit picking would be perfect, even for Henry too.

Weaning Essentials | Products We Love
There are so many weaning products that are available to parents, it can be a little bit daunting knowing which ones to try. Babies can be fussy and sometimes it takes a little bit of trial and error to find the perfect weaning products that you and your baby enjoy using. With Henry now being 10 months, we've grown to love quite a few products that we would simply not be without and I thought it would be nice to share them with you today.

Babymoov High Chair | Review
If you're a regular reader then you will know that we have been apart of the #StressLessWeaning program - a campaign to make parents feel more confident and less stressed when introducing food to their little ones. As you will have seen from our weaning journey so far, it has been pretty much stress-free in comparison to our journey with our first child, Darcie.
One of the ways that you can ensure that your weaning journey is stress-free is by making sure you have fantastic products to help aid you along your way. One particular product I would like to talk about today is our, rather beautiful, high chair from Babymoov that we were kindly sent.

Feeding to Weaning #StressLessWeaning
One element that seems to worry mums is milk intake when weaning. It's certainly an element that has worried me when I was weaning both my daughter and son. At 9 months Henry is loving his food and his milk intake has definitely lessened. I have found that Henry has very naturally and gradually dropped his milk intake as his interest in food has risen.
Henry's typical food and milk intake at 9 months, is now as follows.

Our weaning journey so far
Our weaning journey, so far, has been relatively straightforward. Memories of early weaning with my daughter always played on my mind. I found the whole processes very stressful. So this time around, I was determined to make the process an enjoyable one. Not to get too worked up and educate myself so I would be filled with confidence whilst weaning my son Henry.
