It's a break from the everyday. Doing the same things day in and day out gets tedious. In fact, it can make you feel suffocated. Taking a break to go out with your bestie and spend some time together is going to be one of the best things that you do for yourself this year. Relaxing and rejuvenating yourself will give you the time that you need to feel like you can get back into real life and boss it like you always do. Trips together are the best ways to sit back and just enjoy each other's company.

Spending quality time together. Speaking of enjoying each other's company, being able to spend quality time together might be something that you don't get to do very often. Taking a trip is the perfect time to spend quality time but also tell them how much you love them. The other thing about spending quality time together is that you are memory making, and if one of you lives on the other side of the world and you don't get to do it very often, then it's something that should be on your bucket list.

You don't have to bring the kids. Having a trip with your best friend is exciting, but the best part of it is it doesn't have to involve anybody but the two of you. You'll get to lay together and read, head to a spa, go and find a cocktail bar and go dancing and more.

You're going to have the best conversations. You might talk to each other on the phone every day, but is there anything better than curling up and having a sleepover with your best friend in your 30s? Talking for hours about the nitty gritty of life and gaining that free therapy that you get from each other can be some of the best times that you ever spend together.

You'll be inclined to tiny things. Whether it's getting a new tattoo or choosing a new kind of massage, when you're going to be with your best friend for a time you'll be excited to try things that you might not have tried at home. You know they're not going to judge you and you're not going to judge them, which gives you time to be yourself unapologetically.
