What is a Gong Bath?

First off, it is nothing to do with a bath - as in water. Might be an obvious point to make but you’d be forgiven for packing your bathing costume and towel if you have never heard of it before.

A Gong Bath is a session where you are bathed by the sound of a gong, it’s soothing vibrations wash over you as you sink into a deep state of relaxation. No bubbles requires.

How does a Gong Bath work?

If you have ever been in the presence of a gong you will remember the long vibrating, deep sound it makes. This vibration which accompanies the sound is what makes it so effective in healing and relaxation.

The vibrations travel through your entire body from head to toe which has the effect of soothing and relaxing you. Some of the positive effects a reduced heart rate, lower blood pressure and smooth deep breathe as your breathing balanced into a natural, calm rhythm.
