Who doesn't like to make a little bit of extra income each month? There are all sorts of ways in which you can make extra money - even from your very own sofa! Whether you're saving for a rainy day, to pay off debt or just want a bit of extra money to treat yourself with - there's all sorts of ways you can bring home some extra bacon. Just don't forget you will need to declare any extra income with Mr. Tax Man.
Sell
An obvious one, but it's something I don't do half as much as I probably should. If you have children they have an endless supply of items that they outgrow or no longer have a use for, there will be someone out there who could definitely use your no longer needed items. Recently I sold Henry's swing and an old pushchair we no longer needed. These alone gave us £120 extra. Better than them collecting dust in our understairs cupboard.
Complete online surveys
Now this one won't get you hundreds of pounds, but if you have a bit of spare time then why not give it a go. A recent site I signed up to gives me £0.50 per survey and they only take around 5 mins to complete. So whilst I have my morning coffee, I can make a couple of pounds easy peasy.
Test websites
This is something I have yet to try, but I have heard other people who have given it a go and have earned up to £50 extra a month. Again, these take a little time to complete and you can make around £8 per website tested. From Aldi to Harrods did a brilliant blog post all about this.
Start a blog
Now you won't earn lots of money over night doing this. But if you have a passion for writing and think others would enjoy what you have to say, then why not give it a go? There are opportunities to work with some fantastic brands, which include product reviews, sponsored posts or advertising opportunities. It's hard work and does involve a lot of time, effort and perseverance - but money can be made from blogging.
Playtime
If you have a little bit of money spare and feel like having a little fun, why not have a go at bingo? There are so many bingo sites and you may get lucky and turn that extra £1 into £10! Of course you should always play responsibly.
Shop
Yes, if you like to shop online you can even earn money doing this! Sites such as Quidco offer lots of opportunities to make a little bit of extra income by having lots of different cashback options with some top retailers online.
So there we have six different ways you can extra money each month from the comfort of your sofa.
