Welcome to October Half Term!

Its that time of year again, October half term! October half term is one of my favourite breaks, it feels like its the most needed out of all the holidays through the year. Any other teachers agree? I'm looking forward to spending it with family and friends and of course getting ready for Halloween! We haven't got many days out planned, we wanted to just go with the flow and see where the week takes us. I think sometimes its better that way.

Today we decided to kick start the holidays with a, rather blustery, walk along the beach. We headed to North Norfolk as we wanted to visit Jamie's Grandad, and walked along Snettisham Beach. We had never been here before, its nothing really special, but it was perfect for a curious toddler and dog!

We spent ages combing the stones for beautiful shells and searching for buried treasure. Unfortunately we didn't find the latter, but this didn't deter us!

Fortunately we had a nice ice cream van waiting for us when we got back to the car park, which happily sent me and Darcie off into a sugar coma on the way home!

Just so you know, we were parked in the car park.... just before people start judging!

How are you planning on spending October half term?
